Every e-bike (or bike) we sell at CNY E‑Bike goes through a thorough inspection and tune-up before it reaches you — we treat it like it’s our own. If something feels off once you take it home, we’ll make it right.
What’s Included
- Lifetime Tune‑Ups — Complimentary routine maintenance for as long as you own the bike. Labor for tune-ups is free; you only pay if replacement parts are needed. Covers normal wear and tear from regular riding. This does not apply to damage from misuse (crashes, neglect, improper usage, etc.).
- Flat Protection — For a limited time after purchase (e.g. 12 months), we’ll provide a complimentary tube swap if you get a flat (tire damage excluded).
- Workmanship Guarantee — If a mechanical issue arises from our service or refurbishment work, bring the bike back and we’ll correct it — at no labor charge — provided it’s not due to misuse or neglect.
Note: CNY E‑Bike reserves the right to determine whether an issue is due to normal wear or misuse. Repairs resulting from misuse will be billed at standard shop rates.
Return & Satisfaction Policy
For Refurbished / Shop‑Serviced E-Bikes
- 30‑Day Satisfaction Guarantee — If you’re not happy with your refurbished or serviced bike, contact us within 30 days for either a refund or store credit.
- Refunds may incur a restocking fee (to cover inspection, cleaning, re‑tuning, and relisting costs).
- Store credit options avoid restocking fees to make an exchange easier.
- After 30 days, bikes are no longer eligible for refund, but you can still trade them in for another bike — so long as they remain in good, serviceable condition.
For New E‑Bikes / Special Orders
- Because new and special‑order e-bikes are ordered specifically for you, returns are not accepted once the bike leaves the shop.
- We may allow a trade-in, but trade-in credit will reflect current used-bike value — not the original purchase price.
Accessories & Parts
- Accessories (helmets, locks, lights, etc.) may be returned within 30 days — provided they’re in unused condition, with original packaging and tags.
- Used parts and installed components follow separate return/warranty rules and are generally excluded from returns.
What We Ask of You
To help ensure fairness and sustainability:
- Bring your receipt or proof of purchase when requesting warranty service or returns.
- For returns or exchanges, bring the bike or item in original condition — clean, undamaged, and with all original components/branded accessories.
- Understand that damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect violates the warranty/guarantee. We base all workmanship warranty on standard, intended use and proper maintenance.
